Quilt Show 2 is on it's way to the Gallery~
Now on the examples when I resized the quilt the quality was lost. So to show the stitching and detail I cropped each image to 300 x 300 to show here in the user Gallery. The filter of course makes the whole quilt not just the section shown here.
Information from the filter is as follows:
Quilt Show 2 invites you into a second room of quilts. The second room of spotlights a design known as 'The Wagon Wheel'.
Quilt Show 2 adds delicate detailed stitching and includes different fabrics and patterns then the first filter.
This filter is dedicated to Kraellin's Mom who loves to make beautiful quilts.
Includes 20 Presets
For yet another look on each preset included unchecked 'Change Panels' and a new quilt will appear.
If you are going to make presets the reccomended sizing for the 'Size, pixels slider' is around 300.
~Enjoy

Opps doesn't show larger sampling (my bad)~ You can tell I'm wiped out from making the filter and will update the description to take out the typos once it is in the Library~ Tired~
Forgot to mention on the filter that if you make a preset make sure you have anti-alias turned 'Off'. I'll update that to include that bit of information too~

nice one, jean.
one suggestion here. there is sort of a default pattern to the kaleidoscope component. we see it a lot in pattern filters and it gets to be a bit of a cliche'. in your last image in particular it shows this, that yellow diamond shaped part. and trust me, i've done a number of these myself where that is evident. so, if we can move away from that obvious kaleidoscope pattern the filters will be more unique. imagine each of those images above without that one part to it and i think they'd be more unique and more interesting. you see what i mean? it's a good filter like it is; i just think it would be a great filter without that one part.
and damn, i just read your dedication to my mom. so, now i feel bad for saying anything. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

You should feel bad~ LOL~
Actually you are right but I had no choice. When I started work on it it was already in my head that I wanted to do a 'Wagon Wheel Design'. And this was it. I know that pattern has been over done but I really had no choice if I wanted the true wagon wheel.
It's a very popular and old quilting design. Propably one of the most debated designs as well. There is one other design I almost made and possibly will still make so I won't say what that is... but I will say that the wagon wheel design won out. The debate is about the history of quilts in early America and how they were 'coded with secret messages'. No messages coded in my quilts, LOL. But the history is very interesting~ I'm sure long before America... that codes, messages and stories were told thru quilts. You should ask your Mom about this because she will most likely know more then I do in reference to the designs.
But you can tell her I dedicated a 'Wagon Wheel' design to her~ She'll love that~
Hugs

Oh thanks Kraellin~
You are absolutely right though. Well it's a bit controversial, the coding in quilts. Have a feeling it was done way before the stated history. African American history has claimed the wagon wheel as part of the mapping they used to pass to each other made by people helping them on their escape routes. However I do believe codes were in quilts long before that time. Because it is a controversy some believe codes were never put in quilts. A google search for 'wagon wheel quilt design' should turn up some information. We've come to a day and age when even quilts are controversial, LOL. It's a quilt ... ya know~ Quilts just make me happy~
Codes possibly in American and English history would include ... love, escape, desire, plans, etc. I'd be very interested to know what your Mom says.
