steped tile and a challenge

Okay this is one Ive given alot of thought to and finally figured out how to do
a stepped tile that tiles one copy then two -three etc....

but instead mine copies 1-2-4-8-16 etc...and the one takes 1/2 the screnn the 2 1/4 etc

can any one figure out a proper stepped tile
1-2-3-4-5-6
instead of
1-2-4-8-16-32
and if you have 5 have it split into equal 5th's of the screen
here is my stab at it Im currently working on the other port but it elludes me so far

Would love to see the gurru's like ubber and all the others method for doing this
in fact even though I normally dont use ubers flex tile method I normally use my own this stab at it is in fact bassed upon his mehtod

next a variant of it called step tile 2





next ive been working on one that splits the screen by a 45% angle and does 1/2 the screen a vertical tile the other half horizontal there are two variants one does only a normal tile this way but the pics are the one that is a blend of step tile and this method





ive got a ton of other tile-ing and perspective stuff in the loop someday I might actually finis 1/4 of the ones that are 1/2 finished on my computer

any how this is a complete work here that takes your photo and turns it into a starry night

i dont think you need to be too awfully concerned with being 'far less clever'. these look pretty damn clever to me. though, you may not want to call uber, ubber too often

i've got no help here on the stepped tiles other than to say these good. and i love the idea of taking an image and using that for the input on a starfield. very clever stuff here, volde!
