Yeah, I know what you're saying.....another one of those "sketch" filters smile;) smile:D Well, I went looking for a "No Fills, No Chills" simple B&W outline and detail sketcher.....and there wasn't one.....so I made one smile:D

looks good. Can it do clean lines? it would make reference images for 3d modeling.

Thanx.... No, but that's a good filter idea.....I intended this for portraitures actually..... I think jffe has one that is pretty close to clean lines with slight fills, but I'm not sure..... If he doesn't, I'll make it.....or is that something you would like to do??? smile:)

I will have to look at his and see how well it works for that. I did try to do my own for a while but its hard to clean it up. actually after looking at what you've got it should work with a difference mode blend..

I like it very much... and I want it too!!!
Love anything artsy, and this will make a good b&w sketcher in my collection. Honestly, I love the way your little girl pic rendered, it looks like a fine pencil sketch... and if it had a invert for it these could look like etchings or even scratch board art smile:D

I get the first one that comes out!!!
Everyone else will have to just get behind me to get your copy smile:-p

The b&w line art filter I made is more just lines (altough some shading/grunge is possible), much cleaner, much more boring for the most part ha-ha. smile:D "Instant Outline"

My "Instant Outline" filter sucks.....don't use it!!! smile:dgrin:

LMAO.... I couldn't resist after your promo to boost my filter smile;) smile:D LMAO..... smile:)

I checked it out.....and it does give much cleaner outlines.....what onnetz is looking for.....

This filter is deliberately designed to create rough outlines and details.....first in mind was portraitures.....along with the separation for printing apps......

----All's fair in love & filtering ha-ha smile:p I feel my assessment of my filter is fair though, yours looks considerable different, they aren't in any real competition like that, if anything, most folks interested in one, would probably grab the other (and 5 others like ours) eh. smile:D

I just checked out Northernshadow's filters.....I'm doing something similar.....inverting and using color dodge blend to start.....but approached it a little differently.....
