I just thought I would show off how some of the filters i made here are being put into use.
In this picture i use my "Dinosaurus Tex" filter (and a variation of it) on his skin http://www.filterforge.com/filters/2501.html
and my "Native art" filter for the patterns on his back http://www.filterforge.com/filters/2509.html

Hope you like the results

rawn, i like most of it, but dont quite understand what i'm seeing on the lower right of the image. the part below the critter's head, neck and upper torso, the rock looking part that extends to the right of the image. what is that? and the critter's leg seems to turn to stone as it moves further away from his body. is that intentional?

There are horns under his chin.
I didnt spend too much time on the layout of this scene, This was just done quickly to show off his back.... but yeah, the rock colours and the hand colours are very close.

I'll post a different render later

Interesting use of your native art filter, an unexpected use, is this using Daz/Bryce or do you a different program smile:)

Yeah, I think I am going to haev to modify that "native art" filter to help show how it can be used in other ways.

As for what i used for this render, I am currently exploring cararra as my latest 3d software toy. I love how it renders.
