hi gunsan, welcome back
i like both of those, but the one i would hang up in my living room is the second one. very impressionistic on both, but the first loses too much, i think... well, at least from one viewpoint. from another, you'd call it maybe abstract impressionism and then it would work fine. but i still like the 2nd more If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Hi Steve!
Time, just time....it never seems to be enough. I haave many filters untested.
It is OK with me, Just that Renderosity and my contacts there, and my Pet paintings take almost all time i have. I will try to be a little more active here again though.
Thanks for your concern

i like that one better than the last portrait one, gunny. are you using any refraction with this? could produce some interesting effects. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I personally would take the effect down just a hair.....so you can just barely start to see some more facial features......
Nice work Steve

I think much better with jffe's "embryonic blur" added......just borderline on making out the nose and mouth.....which I think is good because it leaves the viewer open to completing the image of her (her emotion) in their minds...... Steve
