			Hi guys,
Just sharing a neat pic of my pom, Pixel. The only retouching I did to this photo after running it through Pen & Ink Crosshatch was removing a few stray white dots on the black background.
This really could be an illustration, found in a novel. I used to do pen & ink drawings...FF is a better artist than I am!!

I don't know what it's called either, but wouldn't it make great wrapping paper?

Donna, What a cutie!! I'm a real dog fan... (have 4!)
Pixel looks great in Pen and Ink!
The Image Illusions is fantastic, and it would make beautiful wrapping paper or... a fabric print! or wallpaper? or floor tiles? Cool!
Would it be called a Terrazzo effect? Sherry

			Hi Sherry,
Thanks! I looked up terrazzo and this is what the definition is: A flooring material of marble or stone chips set in mortar and polished when dry.
I don't know what it would be called, other than kaleidoscopic.
[wrapping paper or... a fabric print! or wallpaper? or floor tiles] Exactly what I was thinking too!
Unfortunately, it doesn't tile seamlessly. You have to cut and paste to make a larger version of it. That's what I did in order to make it my desktop wallpaper.

			Hi Donna,

The name of the effect you accomplished in the second image is tessellation. The artist most famous for his tessellations is M. C. Escher. Great stuff. Very much worth a web search to learn more.
I like the Pen and Ink Crosstatch too....nice work.
Am gonna hafta try this thing out, I just downloaded. Looks like it will be a lot of fun.
