I have been working on this filter and it kinda resembles something I have seen before
(artwork type) but I cannot place my finger on it. Any thoughts?

The last one is really nice! I'd suggest to "specialize" the filter in this direction, then give a name that suggests its artistic possibilities (something related to painting, brushes etc).

It does have an Impressionism look to it..Maybe Ill call it "Impressionism" its better than "Just some paint on a canvas" Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

the first one looks impressionist, the 2nd maybe impressionist or pointellist or watercolor and the rest look pretty abstract.
