Hi There
The textures for the leather, wood scratches and carpet where done with Filter Forge, the rest Cinema 4D and Maxwell render. I just think it's nice to see how Filter Forge can fit into a render pipeline. as well as being used for 2D Photoshop work. KGtheway2B - it rendered as is in 30 minutes give or take a couple, on a Dual Quad-Core with 8GB RAM |

cool. but i can see i'll never be a 3d artist. with those render times i'd be sleeping way too much
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Biomechanic -- nice work!
It's MaxwellRender, its rendering times are far longer than those of the default renderers in Max/Maya and, I suppose, than those of raytracers like vray. |

Yeh, Vlad is spot on.
Maxwell Render is an 'unbiased' renderer, which basically means that if you leave it to 'cook' long enough, it will always converge to the correct solution, i.e. no render artifacts, etc, etc |
