i think the red, if that's all you're saying is the logo, is ok. i also think if you include the background as part of it, then it's much better! i also hate to say it, but it reminds me of the old swashtika, and i dont necessarily mean the old nazi one, but of any of the old ones, even ancient ones.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Hehe, that wasnt ment to be a proposal for FF logo, just something i threw together to test how graphics would look on the wall.. it probably looks a bit like the swastika cause i was in a warzone-texture-creating-mood
..im making some "Urban Warfront" textures |

 Not seeing it. Reminds me more of things plugging into sockets. Which is appropriate for FF, IMHO.

While the patterns on that last one are cool, they don't look entirely useful. That said, you totally nailed the rust/shiny bits on the edges. Love it! Keep up the good work.
