CFandM, this new preset pic made me think of what you liked about the filter. I have been trying to recreate the motion/perspective pic that you pulled out of it....then realized that I had swapped out the 'motion blur' for 'blur'. I'm my own worst enemy

this one looks a little more defined (tighter lines) but you've dropped the saturation a bit, i think. and not that that's bad, i just liked the high color a touch better. but others may like the pastel better of this, so, ok.
i do hope also that i'm not discouraging you at all, stevie, by my comments. i mean no invalidation to you or your work. i just say what i see. i really dont want to become a 'critic' but i also know that honest feedback is usually a good thing. so, if i ever cross the line or say something that makes your head want to explode or 'go postal', let me know. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Hey Kraellin
![]() Maybe the filter does too much....hard to pick what preset to use as the lead image. Do you think that I should change it back to the original? LOL ![]() ![]() Steve

ah, ok. no, i wouldnt worry about it if you've still got all the other looks.
vladimir stresses keeping it simple, go for a single texture/feel and with a few variations. i tend to go the other way, put it all in there and let the user sort it out. but, in the end, it's really up to you. what do you think the end user will need and want, and what do you need and want from it? If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

CFandM, I'm glad you like it
![]() Kraellin, I've decided to break it up into two filters. From your reaction, others might think that part of it is gone too.... Steve

I like your propensity for showing the gamut of visible colors, StevieJ! I'd like to take that and grit it up... a dirty spectrum!

Torley, that's a good idea.....maybe add a noise module as a 'check' option....
Thanx ![]() Steve

I split it into two filters 'EyeCandy1' and 'EyeCandy2' by inversion and adjustments. I was not able to incorporate noise without having to chop off some needed parameters for the original effects. I will have to make an 'EyeCandy3' to get it in there.....
