My first contri here!

I took a screenshot from Second Life showing two avatars, and proceeded to Filter Forge the heck out of it, as if they were undergoing a cross between deep stasis and tripping out on pixel-shrooms. I also used optikVerve's free virtualPhotographer plugin for extra ambience — to which ends, I've been enjoying the photographic effects within FF. smile:)

You can see the full-size version with a lot more detail here:

Cheerio! =^_^=

Torley, I really like this smile:) the colors and randomness. My mind first goes to a cross between organics and geology.....

Second Life Official Website has more info. smile:)

Key thing I should point out is, the content there is user-created. This includes people new to 3D art; you can build using primitive objects. Not as detailed as, say, importing meshes, but that's not technologically feasible... yet. However, the Filter Forge connection quickly becomes apparent, because FF is very user-driven and encourages community. In addition, it's easy for first-timers to get lovely results with FF, making it even more appealing!

Thanx StevieJ, that's an intriguing pair of words... "organics" and "geology". Almost makes me think of The Thing from Fantastic Four (not to be confused with our own "FF", hehe).
