Hey Lynn, Cool!!!  Is that a posterizer or a powdery mildew kinda effect....can't really tell from the small enlargements. I would suggest posting 600 x 600, just under 250k pics for better examples to view. FF says that the files have to be under 256K, but I've found that it won't let you upload anything larger than 250k...... Steve

Yikes, scary celery spiders, glad I dun eat none of those dirty vegetables. The texture in the pics is alright, looks kind of like the *brighter* areas are affected more maybe ? Tough to tell, but keep at it, and get some bug spray, safety first eh.

Yeah, that spider is a monster.....like Lynn's goldfish Glad I live in the Northeast after seeing that .....but actually we do have some big wolf spiders up this way..... Steve

That is just a baby wolf spider lol We have alot of them here and, whet ever anyone does its not permitted to kill any spider that lives either in the house or the yard. I am very protective of my spider friends lol

No bug spray can be used in the area where I took the photo of the wolf spider. the spider lives in my pond and help with bug control. Besides I love spiders.

Steve if you email me I could send you the original photo, I also have some white water lilies and your welcome to a copy of them also. I will upload a small verion of the water lily and if you like them
I will send them in the email.

I'm no spider fan myself, I prefer something bigger that I can see sneaking up on me, like maybe a koala, or a giraffe. Wish we had a zoo near here. Anyways.

will send them tomorrow after I taken them. It will be another white lily, Noew sure how gig it will be. When I looked at the bud this evening it had another inch to go to reach the surface.

Most of of the time I am sure of what to release. But since this is something different for me I am just not sure plus needing a name for it lol

Some areas of Louisiana is very beauiful, it just depends on what area you travel through. I live in the upper part of the state they call the Ark-La-Tex,that is because we live near the border of Arkansas and Texas.
I like that one for bad speller will tell that hubby when he correrts my spelling

My Defacto is a walking dictionary I get heaps from her - she even kindly picked up a speller in a ten thousand print job recently - unfortunatly after printed LOL 
I'll have to get a map out - Australia's such a tiny place in comparison to US I think there only 20 odd million here.

Yes it is pretty in the area where I live. I live about 1 mile from Cross lake, which there is 2 areas that I head to almost every weekend.
Not all parts of Texas is dessert, There are some beutiful areas of Texas. I haven't been to Arkansas yet, hard to get hubby out of the house lol
Here is a picture of one of the areas I visit, it is a small bayou off of cros lake. The photo was taken in the fall.
