It's mirrored, b-o-r-i-n-g, and not my style in that sense. Sheesh, I'll take the weird, mismatched, decayed look part, but my stuff ain't mirror/kaleid perfect.

i've been going back through old filters i never submitted or even finished or even liked and re-doing them. this is from a multi-filter i did back in the beta days. it was pretty bad and i'm having to rip it apart and completely re-work it.

and here's another one i'm resurrecting. this was an edges type filter. i never submitted it because we already had so many edge types. it was fairly good, but somewhat redundant. the nice part was that it also had some experimental routines inside that were never hooked up. yup, hooked em up et voila'! new filter

LOL the last one before my post yep it's easy to forget about little gems in amongst the working outs for a filter that could stand alone with modification/enhancements

those folders I hope will be in version 2 I've hundreds bits and pieces which is easy to get lost in

Rather than start a whole new thread, I thought I'd use this one for once. Just some purty design/shapes that I wasted 2 hours after dinner, and another 30-40 mins this afternoon. Sometimes just the thrill of making something abstract-yet-cool-looking is worth a little time though, even if it has no real world use eh.

Yup, I blame you for getting me to appreciate B&W again.....

these are from a filter that was a combo of my color range extractor and... someone else's filter. i put the ... in there because i've completely forgotten whose filter it was i mixed with mine. and i'm afraid i was rather lax about keeping track of this back then. but then, i never published it nor did i really intend to, so i didnt worry about it much.

but now, i've reworked it a bit and find it kind of interesting, so i'm going to have to find out whose filter it was it had control names like 'wormholes', 'space time rift', 'spatial flux' and 'quantum chaos'.

ah, just found it. it was 'quantum weave' by crapadilla

ok, having just looked at the mixed filter again, this latest version has actually cut out my part of the filter altogether. so, this is really just a mod of dilla's filter. i took his early portions of his routines and simply added new things to them, though, i did refrain from putting in any kaleidoscopes

in a folder on my stored stuff, i have kpt3, gel, shapeshifter and metaimage. never unzipped any of them sorry, it's not for lack of appreciation; it's just i have a TON of filters, many of which i've never installed. in psp xi i have 3 full menu lists showing of installed plugins and many in those lists have multiple entries and i rarely use half of those. i just like collecting them

i have no idea right now, carl. i'm kind of lost at the moment. i figured the new eula would be out long before now and i was holding up submissions for that. but, even if the new eula came out tomorrow, i'm not sure about submitting anything. i'd like to find a way to make a little extra money or something from all this and that means quit giving away the cow for free. on the other hand, i love doing the work and the feedback everyone provides and the good friendships here and just plain, old creating. so, i'm kinda torn both ways. for instance, i'd love to submit the clouds filter so steve could have a play with it, or anyone else, for that matter, but it really does rankle to think that someone out there is just waiting for new filters so they can sell the images and textures without giving anyone credit or recompense. that just seems wrong. so, i'm still holding back, and that includes sharing anything with steve or anyone else.

on the other hand, if we, as authors, simply banded together and started our own business, worked together, we could own this industry. the talent here on this site alone could accomplish some amazing things, and already has
