that last one looks like jackson pollack found some of those oddball weird crayons, not the crayola ones. those odd ones tended to leave lumps. either that or we've got some acrylic mixed with oil smile:) i do like those spiral ones better than the neons.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Yeah, trying for a 'flat' relief in that one.....but suppose a 'lumpy oil relief' effect might look good as well. Glad you like them.... smile:)

yup, i like em all, but the last 3 best and that last one best of all and yeah, liquid neon would be a great name for the filter.

so, are you in tease mode like me, steve, waiting for something to blow up at FF, inc.?
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Well, more like "getting feedback/constructive critism" mode.... I do wish FF would do "something" towards creating continuous author incentives.....author storefronts for art/textures....something like Second Life.....anything to create lasting author involvement towards pushing creative and quality fold....but I don't like the idea of pay filters on a royalty basis with authors....I think customers would feel "gouged" if they had to pay extra for access to the best filters....

Simply ran that purple flower on previous page through it. To get similar effects from other images, just isolate/center image on black background, then just run it through filter for endless abstractions. Different blur pre-treatements on isolated image will yield greater 3D edge effects from that simple filter.... smile:)
