Some programs never die! This was done in part with the recent build (zip SDL version) of Fractint that runs great in Windows 10. Pretty much the same interface (ie keyboard) as the original DOS version. Tips: Run in Windows 8 compatability mode. Also note that you can add your own high resolution disk modes to fractint.cfg. Also Distorted Echo Mask and GIMP 2.10

Tessellation is both math and art. I like the look of 5 petal flowers and stars, but there are issues when trying to tessellate. Since the angles of a regular pentagon are not an integer divisor of 360, trying to pack pentagons around a point results in gaps. Solution: flip the outer pentagon and crop it at the midpoint between the two outer polygons as shown here.

3. A polar projection filter. From gmic.eu. Also adjustments in GIMP 2.10.
4. Final layering in GIMP.

This example of pentagon tiling is really awesome and very good, like it much and I wonder if this can be possible to be made inside of FF in some way?

I have created it making a pentagon and then use the offset and rotation to duplicate the other 5 pentagons on each side of the central pentagon, BUT as you say right this would leave the white gaps, so to fix it as you suggest I am sorry I do not understand your solution about how to crop it so correctly so it looks like the one shown on the right
