One last thing: is there a control to have the background alpha instead of black?

Just to set the record straight, I render the lace on a black backgroud in order for the lace to show up. The lace filter it self renders on a transparent background

it's looking very good, lynn. i'd say, at this point, that if you want to make sure it's as good as you want it and as good as it shld be and all that, that you find some real lace to study, or good pictures of lace and go from there. that's what i was doing when i found that site i just posted. it's kind of interesting that there arent many, if any, high resolution pictures on google of lace. you would think there would be. the other option, of course, is to just go out and buy some lace and study from that.

and dont read anything into all of that that i'm telling you your texture needs work. i'm not saying that at all. i'm saying that my memory of what good lace would look like, at this point, is a poor substitute for going and looking at the real thing to even see if you need to do more.

I have seen allot of lace when I go to walmarts and Jo Ann's fabrics.I also have searched the internet on lace. There is so many types of lace out there , It really hard to make one style of lace in my opinion. Since all lace don't not have the same type textures or used the same type of material going into make of the lace. This lace is a combination of several styles wrapped up into one. I am trying my best in making this filter.

It is getting close to being submitted, just need to do some fine tuning amd finish making 20 presets and the Description
