just popping out different looks with this filter. it's a sub-filter of the monster. i've got three of these filters now, each 1/12 of the original. amazing even myself with what i'm finding in the original. lol. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

ah, good, steve i might develop a few of these into separate filters. i've a feeling though, that that last one would only work on certain images like that portrait shot of the woman. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

after over two years of playing with this program, it still amazes me at times what shows up. now, this image isnt anything that a lot of you have probably seen at one point or another, but i still like these and this one was just a bit different. the odd part is that this came out of a new noise filter i've been working with on and off and it just sort of surprised me to see this type of image in a noise type filter. and here's another, this one being a sort of silter paint effect. i think this one might be worthy of being isolated and given its own filter. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

LOL....
The only reason why I would suggest "chromatics" instead of "paint" is due to the tone frequency lines that are in it. You could use a Sine wave set at .5 frequency in a shallow S-linear pattern (bottom left to upper right) to remove it..... Steve

The dark "bands" on top of the preserver and the big one under the preserver in the shadow.....they are "artificial" from something in your filter causing additional tone frequency..... Steve

ok, just some images from various filters not submitted. i'll consider submitting the filter if there is some response to these. i dont submit what isnt wanted. i've got all the HU's i need, so the only reason i submit is because someone else might get some use out of the filter. so, speak up if you're interested. hehe, yes, numbering things as , , , does count.
as for the marble, i did submit that one that was along those lines, but it may be too broad in scope and therefore might be good if i submitted another, more tight filter. i'll see if anyone else has any interest. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

See!!!
I would also suggest doing Marble tiles, cornice, waynes cotting, and column forms with it.....maybe with ThreeDee's "Lathe" filter.....
Tall order, I know.....but it's definitely a line that would get serious use.....and you could expand it to all kinds of different marble....
PS..... I think it all hinges on the "photo-realistic" factor of what you have..... Steve

hi 3d, glad you dropped by. thanks
ok, i'll play with the marble. i like the idea of combining it with the lathe filter. we'll see. i see scarykitty has combined the lathe with wood. very cool
but, arent there a couple smooth marble filters out there already? i think i shld maybe keep it in the quarry for now. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

ok, been tweaking this now, tightening it up. for my own use i make pretty broad spectrum filters, so these have to be remapped and tightened up if i'm going to submit. the first round of tweaking is producing this: If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
