I like this example a lot! Thanks for sharing. Here is a take on a modified version of Spiral Flower but with 60 petals instead of 30. Very slow...

Hey! Good job smile:D

This would be an interesting filter. I saw this painting for sale on the net today. There are frame filters that can do that kind of work. All you'd have to do is add one of your flower filters. smile:)

Very nice, Rachel! That brought out some nice colors for petals.

Fifoiclone, what was the base image for your post (pic)? From a filter or something else?

Another use of the excellent Nebula Lab II by David Roberson. I modified it with an option to remove the central constraint on the nebula for more of that wonderful nebula cloud. And Hexaflower + Distorted Echo Mask

Hallo David Roberson,
Your question was: Fifoiclone, what was the base image for your post (pic)? From a filter or something else?
I’m sorry, I can’t show you anymore, my computer had a complete breakdown, and the data is gone. It was an image created from a filter of polygons.
Dear greetings from Bavaria

Yes, that’s right. I left a blank space in the middle and left and right were hexagons, all in shades of gray. Thank you for your consolation, now I have stopped crying.

Now I'm curious how the modified nebula turned out. Maybe I'll tinker with it a bit to find out for myself!

Thanks Erica!! You are so kind.
Nice example SpaceRay. I played around with Octoflower and made the 3 layer option (24 petals) into 2 different options. One as before, the 3 petal layers are at different angles. The second option, layer 1 and 3 are aligned like your sample, here's an example.

Although your example is good and well done, and is nice, there is one big difference from the example I have shown, and that is that the layers are made in different sizes so they do not look the same and equal as the example you have shown.

It would be good (only if possible of course) that the layers of petals could have different sizes, the inner ones more smaller, the medium ones bigger, outer ones more bigger and any other bigger or smaller

Thanks for your comments SpaceRay. The petal layering was the main thing I got from it. The petal shading is different and some of the petals have a subtle S shape. Always looking for more ideas.
