Looking good, Betis.... 
I'm not sure if Craig wants other people's work in this string.....he might be okay with it.....but to be on the safe side, I would suggest starting your own string where you can put all of your works-in-progress.....which you can also use as a self-promotional tool by putting in links to your submitted filters and directing people towards using them.....

hi steve,
no worries, though i do miss when you're not here. always good to have friends around. specially when they ooh and aah once in a while over one's work
and yes, betis, go away! find another house! ok, dont take that too seriously. i do think i once invited others to join this thread, but that was like 30 pages ago and no one showed up, so it pretty much has become my house here. and i dont mind having company at my house, just dont say anything so that i dont know you're here
oh, and i like your ipod. that's kinda cool If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

yup, spacescapes are cool. not sure we'll have have a true one in FF, but it can certainly contribute. might be easier to do several parts of the scape as filters and then just combine results in PS. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Yes......could do it in one filter......but would be slow with multiple planets, stars, nebulae, etc all in one filter..... 
The planned "Meta-Components" in V2 might help out the speed alot in things like this..... Steve

Well I do have Skygen... with sunbeams! It's perpendicular to the ground though, where as this is a horizon, should I do another sky filter?  Roses are #FF0000

you guys like the last one best... interesting. i liked the first or third best. go figure
there's not much to tell, betis. the filter is a mod of ronjonnie's mega metal 10 filter. i just cut it up and put it back together. it's basically a noise filter a' la dilla's noise factory thread. i probably wont even publish it. there's already lots of organics out there. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

The first one you showed us looks attractive. The others too, but I especially like the first.
The first one of the girl pics also looks great.

i've been going through and modding other's filters the last couple of days. call it lazy, call it ripping off, call it artist block, or just blame it on steve; any of these are acceptable
at any rate, this is from a mod of 'organic meat' by skywalker.  If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Well, now Craig, I have travelled through all 43 pages, my head aches, but I found many "goodies" on the way. But not the one I used here. Just know it was called Lavaflow #2 Must have been another thread then. Now I canot go through more. then my head will explode in one of the beautiful lightning images I saw on the way.
maybe the one making Lavaflow can yell???

the only lavaflow types in this thread, i think were on page 41, though there might be a couple earlier than that.
