Great stuff man. What program do you use to make those multiple gif panels and how did you upload a 2.52MB file? smile:) smile:?:

I'm using imgur.com to upload them.

Use their BBcode to copy and paste the gif in directly to this forum.

WOW!! I love much this geometric shapes with the mortar, is very good and well done

It would be even better if instead of only plain colors, it could also have bits of images

The bomber plus makes stuff like this a gajillion times easier to do.

Wanna know something cool about this animation? The position of each circle doesn't move from its location, it's your eyes thinking they do.

Just for kicks here's another one. Note that I can feed in any shape into the inputs and the animation can be adjusted pretty easily.

Too bad FF doesn't have any animation capabilities heh.

I also tried animating some of the stuff I posted earlier a couple days ago. Unfortunately these don't loop. I'll find a way at some point but this is what I got.

Another example using the bomber to animate content. Do I convince people that FF can be actually useful for general motion graphics? smile:p

I'm convinced! How are the particle spaces overlapping there in the last two?

Magic! No. It's an old bomber trick. I just set the density up and scale the particles down to 50% in this case the noise output goes up slightly more than 50% hence the mild overlap.

Oh, right. I was hoping you were subtly suggesting a magical way to increase the particle bounds.

A lot of that I do isn't exactly super fancy! Just normal filterforging with design in mind.

Experiments using FilterForge as an animation tool. It's still a bit slow for specific stuff but it gets some job done. Note: post has pretty heavy gifs. Give it a second while it loads.

Great and well done, amazing how huge lot of different designs you have been able to make

It did not work for me, because I kindly asked to Filter Forge to make a gajillion patterns, but it did not answer, and did not do any pattern smile;) smile:D

Why before was impossible? Is it because of the new greenified components?

Thanks for sharing your works and congratulations for them

Maybe the word impossible would be a bit over. In previous versions, in order to accomplish the same thing you would have had to create a bunch of nodes to accommodate for all possible outputs you wanted.

For example, if you wanted FilterForge to randomly generate a variety of checker patterns, you had to make all possible checker patterns you wanted and use something like a map switch to output one out out of however many types you needed. In this version, since the checkers component now contains green inputs, we're able to control the component via other green inputs. This makes it super easy to randomize but also to create all sorts of stuff which were previously just tedious to do.

There's honestly nothing really spectacular about what I do! It's just that the newer greenified stuff really helps get over some of the deeper annoyances I've had.

HI!! I'm using FFBatchmaster. It's probably the easiest to just use. The rest is just some simple filter doodling.

FFBatchmaster... is that the one Totte made for Apple machines or is this a different one and does it work on pc's?

Yeup Totte made it! It's mac only smile:)

On an unrelated note. I made another pattern generator thingy.

So here's what it does. It has a cascade of shape generating bomber plus components that randomly produce the base image. All I'm doing is just using my color scheme generator to randomly apply color at output.

You can see more of this thing right here:

do you prepare the color themes by hand or are they also some kind of generative?
