here's one from a simple edging filter which gives the impression things were drawn in colored pencil, but edges only.

yup, good idea, carl. or do a slideshow or flash presentation. or, maybe i could rig something up in cool iris. i've been thinking a lot lately about getting a web site to display all my images, but not quite sure what i want to do yet. i have done a couple presentations of stuff in the past, movie maker and one flash back when i had macromedia trial offer. i did a flash of a tribute to marilyn monroe. it was somewhat primitive, but i enjoyed putting it together. i have another one i did of a lot of variations of a rose picture of mine. that one i used movie maker to do a slideshow with music. that was fun also

A cross-hatching with smudging charcoal filter would certainly go HU fast.....

Yeah, there are other charcoal filters.....but in all honesty, I never thought they were really that good. I think it would be easy to improve upon.....you could do a series of 10 different charcoal filters.....and they would all go HU, IMHO.....

here's one from a mod of ronvier's aV a filter. it's just some pattern stuff, but i thought it was kind of interesting.

and yes, i know, but since i'm not really posting many filters these days and mostly only do them for my own use, i'm even more into packing everything into one package. i dont really need the HU's that much. so, we're back to the whole incentive arguement again. want to start a filter company? we could pool all of our filters and sell them and the textures. we'll grab carl and persidio and foxee and sherri and lynn and ron and uber and dilla and threedee and... well, you get the idea.

I needed a taste of that all-numerican false sense of accomplishment this last weekend, so I made these 'odd images here and there' ha-ha.
