OMG! Am trying to fix the black and white issues with the colour, so have added a brightness control slider plus a switch to change from dark to light tones for black and white.

Anyway I changed the base colour to red, and unchecked the dark brightness control over to the light one and got this...

you're definitely getting better, beliria. i like those last three smile:) well, i like some of the others, too, but i like the last three the best and the one that you made the default in that filter you just released, i like that the best of all.

i like the first one on this page the best. i tend to like the ones with a lot of depth but noise free and 'clean'.

Top one is from one of the variation filters from the Embossed Delight and the two below are from um.. one of the variation filters I added extra curves to I think..
sent the one that does the two bottom pictures in earlier. Mind am wondering if they are only updating Recents once a week now?

i've been playing some more with your engraved delight. quite a fun and interesting filter. this time, i modded out a couple of your components and added a couple controls. i can see why you have many versions of this smile:)

Very..

Think I add two new variation child filters a day at least lol!

hehe them two look familiar think I might have a child one similar to them.. will open up the one with the satin effect ones and post one of them so you can see... will have to make an image I'm not uploading to SL or put a mark on it smile:( so IF someone snags the image it wont be much use to them smile;)

First one was pre-dinner smile;) smile:D, Second one was when I got back and started on the filter again.. it's looking well wicked now, still needs more work, plus might take a cut portion from it and upload. Main one am working on has a lot of skirting/coving choices and wallpaper base styles (pre messing with the node sliders)

Having a few issues with one of the ideas I had for the wallpaper, wanted to work out how to incorporate a base original image into the center part, but most of the shrinking techniques don't give me what I want smile:(.

So I um started making this instead.

that looks somewhat familiar smile:) (and no, i'm not accusing you of ripping someone off smile:) ).

the one i'm posting is from one i got stuck on. i was trying to work something out and never could quite get it and finally moved on.

would love to see you develop yours more.

smile;) smile:D Thats good, otherwise I'll have to track you down and batter you! smile:-p.

I was going for a gemstone/crystal type texture with that, your's looks interesting too. Stone node based?

I do that too, or get distracted by something that crops up as your tweaking the filter.

yes, there's actually 3 stones components in there. that was somewhat how i was trying to do the depth. well, that and using the refraction depth and the surface depth.

and maybe this one shows things better. you can see certain facets down deeper and the opacities, but it's just too busy and noisy to be much good.

lol okay so will work on a different filter when I get time smile:D.

And cool one Craig! That kinda reminds me of a canvas bag I had years ago. With bits of colour glass sewn on with bright shades of embroidery silks.

thanks, beliria, but those were pretty much failures. i just wanted to show you the layering and depth part of it. i took three stones components and worked with each on a separate leg in the editor then brought them together bit by bit with a refraction component. but i've never been happy with it. i like your simpler red crystal better smile:)

aah think mine was just two stone components, I was aiming for a cut gemstone like texture, which I might get someday lol!
