jhdcgsddd is interesting.....so is uhbcvdgdfmm.....not to mention ahhdvbdbdgf....but athdgdvcfdg is spectacular....along with ahgdterfdge!!!

some more version 2 stuff. three of these use carl's magpie pic. (thanks, carl
). it's a good pic to use to get a dark foreground to test with rather than the normal light or white. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

that last one was not done with one of the normal sketch filters. it just turned up in one of my newer filters and was quite nice in eliminating the background and finding the edges... quite unexpected.

and yeah, i've isolated that effect out into its own filter now, steve. it's still a pretty broad effect and not everything comes up like the one i posted, but i'm liking it If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

i've been having a play with your magpie. he's quite photogenic... and filter-genic. i did this with an unpublished filter and then cleaned up a bit of the noise in paint shop pro. i'd have posted it in the gallery here, but it's your original photo and the filter is unpublished, so it didnt feel right to put it there  If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

That last one is pretty interesting. I like the flat vs. kind of random grains texture look, and that it doesn't screw up the original color much if at all.

ok, am back. my computer went on the fritz. got a new computer guy. the guys that built this rig just kept screwing things up and did a whole lot of wrong things when they built this thing. the new guy just saved my butt, a TON of time and quite a bit of money. it's good to have competent folks!
