that reminds me of something, carl... a painter in the 60's or 70's? not sure but i like it

#4 and #8 for me on the nude series, but #9 is the best
and that oct 2 posted one reminds me of something... maybe one of those reverse paint types where you remove paint or other things that were painted over in order to get the effect? not sure. it's just a bit obscure as to what the subject is, though. is that a dock on some water or what? If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

i'm using the magpie pic to test filters. all that black as the forefront object is pretty much the opposite of most pics, so it gives me a nice other look at things.
the metal camo stuff... i dont know. something a little off. i mostly see it, but something not quite right there. i like the 2nd one better, but both are not quite there yet. and i cant even quite pinpoint it. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Carl, I like the military plating.
The switch for metal/camo is a smart idea and the scratches and corrosion are good. Two suggestions: Add a little depth to the corrosion (so the border appears in the height map, like a good rust filter), and try to use more organized / symmetrical patterns for the boxes so it looks engineered for a purpose. |
