Here is some silliness, So Many Flowers. This is an updated version of Simple Van Gogh, using the old Bomber, reverse engineering most of the ideas from the bomber+ version. I know FF math better now, so I could pull it off. I am going to try to submit it and see if the submit bug is fixed in FF 5.007 on the Mac.

The small bits of color combined with the shape following and brush shapes all combine into some wonderfulness. Wow "wonderfulness" was actually in my spellcheck. |

Upside: Amazing! ![]() I see ocean foam in the first, and fur in the second. And the third is a great paint effect. |

Thanks ddaydrames, Skybase & Indigo Ray. I am trying to keep controls down, I have got it down to 10. The Particle Adapter issue may hold up the release of the filter. Did I say slow? For 600x600 it's about 1 minute for each Bomber+ "density" increment. A lot of Lookup components. The concept for curved brushes works, it is slow, and it looks good I think.

Inspired by ThreeDee's excellent effort at image merging (see this post), here is an experiment with luminance masking and merging images. The background was edited with Photoshop CS 6.

I've put together a test version of 2 slideshows featuring work done with Filter Forge. If anyone here is interested and wants to comment, here is the URL:

Looking at your ultra-sharpening experiment.
Sharpen is an interesting component. It can give nice results applying more than one together. |

And this is nice too. I am also working on a similar idea, but I thought to blend 4 different angle of smudge in the same picture. It generates star-like effects. I'll see if it is worth ( it is a bit slow ). |
