Funny, the colors in your image are actually similar to a type of macaw (basically a parrot).

Good that you have used a tile removal option, so you could remove some of the tiles and so they not fill all the available space, and the black background is showing behind

Although I also added the option to have a color background and not only plain images loaded into the squares, so you could use transparent images with alpha channel and show the background behind and change it from color to another image if wanted.

I have been also trying to find a way so the tiles images or/and background does not get repeated so much often on nearby places

Create random colors shapes that are not repeated nearby?
