The byRo-Lucato landscape snippet revisited

ok, i've been playing around with this snippet again. i was fascinated with this when it first came out by byRo. i played with it then but didnt really do much back then. but, we've had any number of changes since then, both to the filter and with FF. so, there are new components and stuff to do an upgrade now.

i tried to do two things here, add some speed and functionality. i didnt manage to affect the speed much, but i did add some function.

i may release this as a snippet but not yet. still playing i like the rain/weather, the sky, the sun/moon but not the land yet. it still looks too much like a contour map rather than land. but, i thought i'd show some pics from the progress.
