I know that this filter is pretty basic and unimpressive to most advanced filter makers, but I can't help liking the images that it produces. I envision some of the images from this filter as being fine art peices.....blown up and developed on Cybachrome photo for the depth and richness of color....
If a painting of a plain square with ball in it can be worth a million dollars....then why not something alot more interesting like this.... Steve

A basic wave curve creates something different from the tone and color map of differnt images..... Steve

I was also thinking of using them towards producing more abstract glass filters..... Steve

These are some of the presets that I have created for a new filter (StevieJ's AbstractWorx2)....
If you are an abstract artist and this does nothing for you, I would love to know how I could change it so it would do something for you.....
All feedback comments, suggestions, and ideas about this filter are greatly appreciated Steve

i like your use of color, stevie, both in this and other pieces. very nice. i may borrow some of that for a black and white i've been working on. it's more of an abstract architecture and currently only black and white. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I just saw it....and I'm intrigued by the possibilities of where you might go with it!!!
Man, your ideas are giving me truckloads of new ideas.... My head is about to explode
I wish that I could get paid to do this because it is so interesting, challenging, and enjoyable.....but it's not helping with the bills.....yet!!! Steve

Hey CFandM, long time no see I've been folowing your 3d Glasses....and I would love to put on the specs to see your fountain pic....
From all your feedback on all my filters, I take it that you are drawn to the softer abstractions. If so, I think that I discovered something you may like last night.....soft glowing glass tubes in space. I'll post some pics later on today. I would love to know what you think of it.... Steve

stevie, did you re-post some of those pics? two or three seem brighter and more vivid today (it's fine if you did, just curious if it's me getting more sleep or if you changed a couple of them) If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I can't really explain why I like them more than the other variations but they
are just more pleasing to my eye..

Thanx James, glad you like it That might be a good idea....a filter that can create that surface without any abstraction. Thanx for the idea!!! Steve
