Heya, awefully new to this program. Ran across it the other day and instantly fell in love with it. It's what I've been hunting down for quite some time. (Hoping a port can make it to the iPad one day for a more portable production that I usually do, but what it is now: I have much to learn.) Just going to post random things I develop here, for awhile I'll probably analysing a ton of the art several of you wonderful people produce to see what I can learn and build off of.

Thanks for stopping by :3

Particle 03 (This generation reminds me a ton of Martin's Oil filter which helped me understand using noise to construct coloured images)

Haven't done anything in awhile so I did a fairly quick filter to get my brain back into learning this software.

Welcome, and is very good to experiment and see what you can get and see how other filters are built to see how they work and learn more.

Like what you do, the best is Oddities 02 with these organic bubbles with colors

Thanks Ray. I've been doing that (deconstructing others' filters). Been working on recreating different "bubble" filters, especially the kinds Martin has done because of how clean they are, but also wanting to build upon them because I would ideally like to be able to create a "acrylic pour" esque filter.

Here is one using Martin's Tension series as a target, working out little errors in it so it is a bit more consistent.

These Buubles are really very well done, it looks very realistic and like Lava lamp bubbles with lovely gradients and great lighting

Please, can you be so kind to tell what filters you are using as source to reach these ones? You Mean Martin Naumann filters? I am sorry that I have not seen any bubbles filters that may be similar to yours.

The only realistic bubbles I have seen is this from Ronviers

Thanks and congratulations for such awesome works

Thanks Martin! I used a loop with scaling that copies the same orientation of the bubbles on two profile gradients for X and Y. I think I learned it from a mixture of yours and emme's work.

Soft Spot 01's Gradient using a gradient thingy generator I made in attempts to make really soft gradients. It's really slow unfortunately so probably gonna make another one from the start.

Going through a bit of a change up in my direction in life, wanting to post on here more often, at least document what I am learning. Changed my user also to match with my recent changes on insta.

Here is a recent render. Been messing with loop transforming and the bomber. It was really slow to render out though. Might just be that I'm impatient though.

Hope all are doing well!

Thanks Martin! Yeah its looped distortion - really enjoy what I can get by exploring it, still one day want to be able to emulate acrylic pours.

Here is the distortion I used for smokey colours. Its super finicky and maybe 1/250 of the out put look half decent.
