Somewhat like that Post Modern Posterize or whatever it's going to be, but different a bit. Comments, is it worth it, or too similar, or looking to weird/useless ? Thanks.

Well, those were 3 of the *smoother* presets, and it tends to get dark fast, especially the background. I'll keep hacking away at it, and see if I can get it any better this weekend. Thanks for looking.

Intonation has to do with (pitched) musical instruments, but since that filter uses the tone curve component, it seemed like fair use.

----Thanks I wouldn't know, never really studied art/painters at all. I have a poster print of the sunflowers, but that's Van Gogh I think. I need to go back and hassle with the too-dark-background issue a bit more on this one.

I like it too jffe, and my thoughts run the same as Carl's, it would be interesting on more complex images...
lightening up the background? maybe some type of screen blend with a set alpha? Sherry

----Hmm, I tried that, and unless I'm doing it wrong, there's too much bleedthrough of the original image. I've got some range limited Gamma and Brightness/Contrast on it now, and I lowered an internal module value, and got the background tamed quite a bit, and no bleedthrough happening, so I'ma probably stick with that for now. Thanks for the idea though, appreciated.
