~Whew~ Wiping the sweat off my brow.
Sneak Peak because it's on the way to the Gallery. Filter is applied onto my Poppy photo. From the 'About' screen on the Filter: This type of paint is called 'Powder Coat' it is a protective coating that is sprayed on, then baked. It is chip resistant weather resistant also very durable. Mixed into the paint are stainless steel particles that add to the corrosion resistance. Typically you can get 'Powder Coat' in many colors however your most common color would be machine grey. ((With special thanks to my husband for explaining the process so that I could interpret the paint as a filter)). This filter will paint the 'Powder Coat onto your image using the image as a pattern for the paint. The settings panel has sliders to control: Add Steel Shavings Brightness Contrast Cosmetic Particles Increase Chip Width (Only a slight increase) Sand Blast (Will sand blast your entire image if you want...) Smooth Out Paint Includes 19 Presets. I did not include Sandblasted presets because I added the maximum amount of presets to load for the Gallery with the Powder Coat look- Try the sandblast~ Jean P.S. It's fast. ![]() |

wow. that is soooo delightfully funky. Those flowers almost look insectoid now. I was thinking of putting one of my kid photos through a bunch of different FF filters (like yours here) and printing them all out.. .maybe 20... and lining them up my stairway... hehe. FF is da bomb.
Looks like velvet on black rock... very cool. the artist formerly known as Bongo51 |

[[[Thank You Bongo]]]
![]() The filter produces quite a few looks- the previous two are the default setting. Here are a few more various styles with the Powder Coat Filter. Jean P.S. I already want to update the presets and maybe clarify settings. It's an advanced filter because of all the sliders. Hopefully beginners will be able to enjoy it~ I'll try to clarify more for them and update the filter around the time it hits the Gallery. ![]() |

((((Hugs)))((((TY)))) Makes a wide range of a cross between Lithograph and Illustrator. The pic above has Sandblast applied. Here's what I did to the filter. I ripped off all the presets that were there to show off the metallic qualities---> which were dependent on the end user knowing how to get that kind of look out of the filter. All 19 presets... GONE. LOL Then I spent 3 hours this morning making fine tuning and using what I know to create 16 stunning presets that give artists renderings. And I'm not done as I'll have 19 back however I cannot update the preset till hit loads in the Gallery ... and then will have to wait on the load time for the upgrade. This one I'm showing here is not a preset just settings. I'm going to take a 30 min break then will come back to it and work some more on it. Bongo wrote:

Hi Stevie
![]()
![]() ![]() ![]() 19 presets are not enough to show the range of the filter. I'm deliberating on this end for the presets. Believe it or not it also makes an array of background papers. (Not to mention silky black backgrounds that I don't have room to showcase. But they are in the filter.) What I came up with to showcase the some of the papers and backgrounds are two color wheels; each area represents a background fill from the filter. Beginners like their graphics in one click- Advanced users realize that layer filters and manipulation no matter how great the filter is-----> always pays off. This filter is great for advanced users. *grin* But... the fills below are one click beginner exmaples. Now an advanced user is going to have fun changing hues ect even layering other filters on top and duplicating semi transparent layers. The filter at this stage prior to the update seems like it will be friendly for all experience levels (which is my main concern of course). Stevie thanks so much for taking a look!~ ((On top of creating and tweaking this one last night I also made another frames filter (it's an update from Metal Teeth with some new twists)- also updated Metal Teeth to show CFandM's corkboard reccomendation to use in conjunction with that filter. Been busy, LOL. This filter is the filter I was working on prior to the Condensation filter- the filter that accidentally made the bubbles... (LOL)---- don't worry that's been fixed. No bubbles here.
