This is my first post, and first material smile:D. I've been experimenting with this style of filtering for a while now, and I'll be putting out color grading, and detail enhancing filters for this forum. I just have to say, I love this program. It's my first day using it, and has already inspired some great ideas that would've been impossible to complete otherwise.

So here's my material, Detail Multiplier. It uses a series of blurs that ultimately filter the colors through its surrounding areas, and multiplies the colors, darkens dark colors, and lightens lighter areas. The colors will be enhanced, where if there is a dull color anywhere, it will be multiplied by itself, as well as other colors around it slightly blending in that color.

I'll post before and after images pretty soon.

Enjoy smile:D!

I've uploaded the filter through the app, but it still hasen't showed in my record or library.

Edit: I just read that it takes 24+ hours to add it to the library.

Yep, it takes a while before submissions get into the library. On weekends, you usually have to wait until sometime on Monday before they appear.
I think it's still that some actual person at FF reviews the submissions, where the reviewer(s) may be busy, sick, not at work, or whatever -- so it's not just some automated procedure yet, as far as I know.

Thanks for the insight, and the comments. I'm thinking of making alternates within this filter, just to spice things up a bit, and fix this filter up, since it IS my first smile:D.

aa13x, i like this and welcome to FF.

i do a lot of photo correction and manipulation so this type filter is always handy. however, i wanted a bit more of an all-in-one out of this filter so i went ahead and altered it a bit, just for my own use. but, i thought i'd post the file here for you in case you want to use any of my alterations. i'm not submitting this to the library. it's your basic idea. i've lost none of the function of your original here, just added some more. so, use it, toss it, throw it on the floor and curse me, whatever suits smile:)

Submitted. It seems that the default setting for the new material has lost a lot of quality of the original filter. I'll try to resolve that.

Edit: Actually, don't mind that. I'll just make a preset with the original settings.
