well, of course submit it. i'll never use it, mind you; i just like pack-ratting filters
ok, kidding there
that first one reminds me of waaaaay back in elementary school. we were supposed to make some clay items and paint them. the school was going to then send them off to be kilned. that glaze you have there is very much the same result. so, tres cool If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I am the same way, thats why I rarely walk into one unless UI only take a few dollar with me and leave the plasic cards at home.
I am an big animal love lover, good thing my hubby lets me have almost any pet I want within reason.
I have at the present time as pets, 4 guinea pigs,1 cat,1 dog, 1 rabbit, and 4 box turtles. Hubby brought home 2 of the box turtles and I found one and the other one was hatched in our home. I also have an 7,600 above ground pond, with koi, fantail gold fish, comets, bluegulls, crayfish and mosquito fish. In the smallest pond, I call the froggie pond, holds around 100 gallon, I have tadpoles I am watching over and it the house I have polywogs.
I would love to get a couple of albino channel catfish for the large pond.
Wgat type of fish do you have and what size are your tanks?

200g, 150g, and 94g.....all fresh water.....all kinds and sizes of very colorful Cichlids.....everyone always thinks they are saltwater tanks because of the fish colors. Kinda relates to my filters now that I think of it Steve

I have a regular Jack Dempsey that is getting huge, dark, with like irredescent armor plating.....started as a $1.00 fish from a pet store. I also have three Electric Blue Jack Dempseys (hybrids) that have unbelievable colors to them.....
I starfted out with all kinds of unique goldfish.....but they produce alot of waste....and had to clean the tanks too often. With Cichlids, only have to do a 75% water change once a month using good biotics..... Steve

I agree with you there that goldfish do produce alot of waste and they also love to tear up plants lol. Right now my pond is slowly clearing up after an major algae bloom. Now I get to see my fish and the new addition that were hatch from last year.
I was going to give my water lily some plant food the last time I was in the pond, but I didn't do it since my blue gill is using that pot to spawn. She is very protective of her spawning area, and she show me that she wasn't afraid of my by here repeated attacks on my hand and foot lol.
Most of the koi I have, I have gotten from the local bait shop, they were 3 inches big, Now some of them are almost 2 feet long.
Friday I am going to clean out the last filter to the pond and change about 20 percet of the water. Ater that I don't need to clean only 2 filters till next year. My pond has 5 filters to it, 1 20 gallon in pond filter, a 55 gallon biofilter, skimmer, small filter that is attached to the pump and the last one used to be an sand filter, but now holds activated carbon and Ammo.

Yeah, been trying to figure that out.....it's bugging me too I have to find a way to do it with a simple filter.....that clear edge is a product of lighting height and blurring for the smooth surface with a surface result. Going to be quite a challenge to get it with a simple filter..... Steve

Yeah, I turned down the height and blur in an attrempt to loose the clear edge protrusion.....sacrificing smoothness and gloss effect. Steve

Those last 2 are pretty cool looking. I'd havta see the original to compare, but I can see the handle part isn't getting mucked up in those last 2 variations. Is a 2-D filter still, or a 3-D surface one in those examples ?

Thanx they are 3D surface with everything turned down low. Here's the original..... There's a depleted area (like the rose) on the top of the handle where you said it was mucked up.....but I like testing my filters with them because it tells me what it will do on other depleted images......and I can figure out how to get the filter to cover over bad picture areas..... ----"Depleted", that must be a photography term, not aware of it, seems kind of like overexposed, or super contrasting or something ? The life preserver seems to do some of that too where it goes from white to orange, very annoying, but good for testing like you said eh.

Yeah, no detail or varying picture information areas.....look like solid flat color and won't produce relief.....

i think you have too. that first one, while not as high a glaze as your originals in this thread, is still there, but smoother. and that 2nd one has a definite chrome/metal look, but with a slightly lower reflective quality than polished chrome. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
