Great stuff Lynn you really got it together with Daz3d, I'm having fun playing around blindly with it, there's a lot to absorb for my small furry brain. Looking forward to seeing you using in your filter thread examples smile:)

lynn, wonderful smile:)

might i suggest something on your last render; you've got a lot of bronze/copper in that image. the throne within the structure would stand out a bit more if it were either lit a little differently or colored a little differently. still quite incredible, however smile:)

oh, and no the strength of your use and posts, i've signed up and downloaded daz studio and free content and the pdf manual. might be months before i ever get to it, but at least i've got it now. i've also got bryce 5.5. i'm such a packrat smile:)

I agree with you Craig just to much repition and copper. I did make some changes to the texture maps . I will work more on a new texture set sometime this week. I just wanted to show people what they can use the filters for smile;)
That is great that you have downloaded daz studio and bryce 5.5. As far as packrats goes I know what you mean, I have paint shop pro versions 5 thur the lastest version, bryce 5,5.5 and 6.1. Almost all the free models that daz3d gave out. On my second computer I have at least 80gb of poser models lol and not counting all those cds I have.

LOL I need to get my tail end in gear and start sorting out files and burn the ones I would like to keep on the second computer. The same with the main computer, I have 2 120 gb hard drives. I already have 80 gb used up on my slave drive. Not sure how much of it is from daz3d. Since I went on an shopping spree last month.
Thank you very much on the comment on the render.

Thank you so much Craig,Steve and Carl for all your support. That is what I love so much about FF forums. I will be posting a few more of my 3d wwork. I have one in wip, and it will take me a few days to finish it. I am still working on the filter and will be using the texture in this new render. I learn alot from this render.

Interesting!! that rawn guy sure does some really awesome texture maps for poser models smile:)

Thank you very much for the encouragement Jean, When I said that " I need to improve my texturing skills" I was prefering to my poser textures.

[QUOTE]How's the summer treating ya[/QUOTE
So far my sumer is a bunch of headaches, full of minor problems, that could turn out major. Most related to the big pond. Other that that is it pretty dull around here lol
I am getting things slowly set up for the fall, I am planing on starting back to doing bead work, and this weekend I will be picking up some new beads.
How is your summer comming along?

The summer is coming along great----> First month was a bit bumpy... Other then that it appears the rest is going to be downhill.

Redoing rooms in the house... starting with the guest bedroom where I make filters and hook up to the Internet~ smile:D Going to steam clean the carpets today and set the bed back up in here tonight ((old farm bed)).

Going to be a busy and fun summer. smile:D

Sounds like fun to me, I am redoing my tiny little conter in the kitchen, so I will have a place to do my bead work. I also need to look around for another monitor for the computer I have in the kitchen.
I would use the computer room but there is not much room in thier when both computers are in use.
When you are done cleaning your carpet would you like to clean mine lol

Well that's where our second computer is now (kitchen area). Going to move the Bistro table as I call it... and move it here right behind mine with the second computer.

LOL All clean~ smile:D Bed is set up~ I should have done this room like this years ago.

Oh when you start making your bead designs I'd love to see... rogue_river@hotmail.com

Or shoot me a link if you put photos of them up in your gallery. I think I need your gallery link again (lost in bookmarks). Pretty please.

Don't mind me I'm in a chatty mood today~

Well I think I just turned our guest room into a computer room. Big screen T.V. is in here too... and... two book shelves. The only thing now is ... I need to get rid of this desk. yuck... desk has to go.. .LOL

Hi Jean,
Happy to hear that you turned your spare bedroom into the computer room. Do you have any other hobbies?
Here is the link to my gallery
http://artzone.daz3d.com/index.php?mo...m&p_id=399
It is in daz3d artzone, if I remember right you already had signed up at daz3d.
I got my little corner set up today, and its not enough room lol, but it will do to get me started, I alway could use the kitchen table if I need more room smile:D
I will upload a couple of photos of a couple of dream cathers I have made.
I am hoping to find some Swarovski Crystals and some hemalite beads at the bead show this week end, this will be my first time going to one seince I moved down here.

Love the beads and American Indian creations!!!

Beautiful~ smile:D smile:D smile:D smile:D smile:D

Do I have any other hobbies? Besides computer related hobbies you mean? Gardening...

love flowers... love vegetables... big yard~

Usually I grow from seed. Taking a break this season and maintaining... come autumn I'll get ready for the following spring, then next spring I'll plant my seeds. Usually I try to create my own world with plants, LOL. When we bought the house we had no flower/vegetable beds or trees... so I ripped up areas and put in paths and bedding areas for plants. In the past I've done all the work myself including mowing the lawn... having hubby help this year. ((I'm on strike, LOL)).

I also like to paint rooms in the house, and reading is a hobby... as well as writing (two novels working).

Admiring your beadwork!~ Beautiful~

Thank you very much Jean. I love to garden also and this year I took it off. All I planted was some gourds from seed. I also mow the yard and with all this rain we have been getting the grass in the back yard is growing tall lol

I could never write an novel, what are your novels about?
Reading is an good hobby what type of books do you like to read?

I also want to get back into my leather work, I need to go down there and see if they still offer classes once a week.
