nice, lynn. i like that you added some fabric texture as well as the pattern. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

+3 Excellent patterns and textures!!! If all these cool ideas keep popping up, we'll never see the Inca and Aztec designs Steve

well, my isp died last night, lynn, or i'd have continued to chat/ramble... probably a good thing it did, eh?
i wonder how some of those might look applied on dilla's sphere? If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

The first two look metallic.....and the third looks like chrome or glass.....and you know how I feel about chrome and glass
Was this intentional.....or a product of spherizing them with lighting???
PS..... what program did you use to create these??? Steve

ah, i forgot... you're a 3d person too re dilla's spheres, i was referring to how he's been posting spherical images using FF textures lately here in the forums. those are a bit different. dilla's are the ones setting on a stool with 3d lighting effects. i believe he used 3d max and i forget the other program. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

It's great to see more American Indian patterns. (((Good Thinking)))
It's good to be back. After I had emailed you --------> much more came to the surface. Just been dealing with everything. Looks like my life can go back to normal now. (((Everythings Good)))
In the meantime I lost tons of free trial time on Filter Forge (((life sucks that way))). ----> LOL

These are very very cool. I am amazed at how you can take a kalidescope effect and control it to such a degree that you can make distinct styles like this that are totally recognizable.
Ya know what might be fun (since these look like quilts), maybe you could take the pattern and run it through a highpass filter, and use that to "puff up" some depth to make it look like soft patches stitched together.
(though for texturing it is more practical the way you have them)

Thank you very much Rawn, I think it all those years I spent playing around with Paint shop pro kalidescope, which I have about 50 presets that I have made for it, and serval thousand seamless tiles using the kalidescope.
