Yup I am planning a filter to convert a complete picture into a tiffany glass master piece.

So I guess I should have explained my sample work. This is a rough rough rough rough draft of only the background for the final filter. I am going to get the texture down later; however, just wanted some thoughts on the color of the glass.

How is the color of the glass?
Should I make the color more uniform?
What do you think makes a realistic stainglass look?

i'd say the glass is about right. i could definitely see tiffany. color is good. variety is good and the opacity is about right also.

and as for what makes stained glass... that varies. tiffany was a very distinct look. church stained glass is different and there are other types as well. so, since you said tiffany here, that's what i'm going by and i'd say you've got it down pretty well.
