first filter, work in progress. i got the bubbles to refract the background, and they have a nice rainbow swirl to them, but the filter casts a gray haze over the original photo and generally messes with the levels, but i don't know why! if only we could apply the filter as a new layer, i'd just alpha mask the whole thing. anyway it's not a tough fix in photoshop to correct the levels...

you can alpha mask the whole thing. see my filter by a similar name.
