that's lovely, gunsan. is that from a photo or an image of a painting, the original? and which filter did you use? If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Craig, if I remember right It was Monster spawn 1a. nr 3 or 4. Then I moved the pixelsize to a minimum and played a little with the light settings

very cool i love it when folks use my filters for something like this
i had to look at 1a to remember which it is. you could probably also turn the anti-aliasing off for a similar look at you're getting with the pixel sizing. it's a lot noisier that way. and preset 5 might work there too.
but regardless, i like your work
might i also see the original? If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

I am happy to say that I already has got a free copy despite that I have done no filters, and that made me sooo very happy. could not afford to buy it, so it came in handy. I am such a persn that experiment a lot, and maybe to show the good people what you can use the filters for is a good thing.

i noticed the same thing a few days ago, gun. so, i've been posting a little more here and on retouchpro. both aspects are fun for me, creating the filters and using them. it's nice to be able to take a break from one and do the other.
in fact, you might enjoy it. lots of good folks here to help you if that's what's keeping you back, and you already know most of us, so no reason to be shy
then again, i like your art so much, that if you dont want to create filters, that's ok too If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

A simple rusty surface can make a great background too, with the same settings.
I just love making backgrounds of different kinds. Can sit for hours just experimenting.
Some are good, some are crap, but I train my eyes
No, I have no intention making my own filters, there are already so many,I have my hands full tryimgg them...and
We dowhn need no steeenking manual" (alteration of a 'Blazing Saddles' quote)

I found out one thing now. Since the opacity is set to a low (50%) value for the pricks to be seen, I do as this
I duplicate the pic when it is rendered, and set the blending to overlay, I can get the saturation back.

This is really very fascinating, Gunsan! I feel as if I look long enough I can see a raging sand storm approaching and the face of the Mummy King will appear ~Foxxee~
You are more than welcome to use and learn from my FF filters ;)
