Hey Lynn, I like this direction alot
Maybe plain rusty versions without the surface design work might be more generally usable. A good example is the plain rusty metal jffe used in his "Metal Grid Melt" filter.....combined with your patterning would be perfect
I also think that plain black wrought iron (like "Iron Age") with your patterning would be extremely useful
I guarrantee that the plain rusty and wrought iron ones will take off!!! Steve

Excellent!!! In my opinion, most users are looking for the plain textures on these.....like rusty metal, steel, wrought iron, brass, copper, peuter, and chrome.....but I think the first three mentioned would be the most usable
Oh, one more thing.....I would suggest making these with a transparent/external image option switch..... Steve

I think there's many different (usable) directions with these.....gamescape walls, ceilings, and floors.....factory design renders.....home decorative metal work renders.....backgrounds.....etc.....
I think these types of filters have among the best potential to become high usage.....if not the very best potential. These will always be sought after..... Steve
