Filter Licker

Hey there smile:D

The render below uses elements built in Filter Forge...

1. The floor texture is a Truchet Tile pattern from here :

Multi Pattern by uuk

2. The hexagonal grill pattern on the speaker uses a custom bump map created by me, then exported from Filter Forge and used as a clip-map

3. The indentations on the main body of the earphone were created with 'scratch - maps' built by 'Maximus 3D' (Maxwell Render Forum)

I was just wanting to illustrate how helpful FF can be when used in a rendering pipeline

For those who are interested, the render was realised with Cinema 4D & Maxwell Render R1.5.1

The full-size image can be viewed here at deviantART A Lonely Sony Earpiece... or at Renderosity A Lonely Sony Earpiece...

Thanks

J

Looks great, it always interesting to see filter Forge used - 4 and a half hours to render on a quad - wow smile:)
