Cast Metal

Like it nice clean - is this a coming soon

i like the look but having a hard time with the name 'metal'. using an image with a natural transparency might be throwing me here, unless we take into account star trek's transparent aluminum. and when i think of 'cast', i think mostly of cast iron. i know other metals are cast, but that's the first that comes to mind, iron.

if you are sticking with the 'cast metal' name, then the first image comes closest for me. and i do like the sort of soft graininess of these. i also like the consistency of effect, image to image, even though the colors are different.

hmmm, just a thought here... instead of 'cast metal', how about 'metal cast', since what the filter seems to do more than make metal, is to give things a metal cast about them?

so, bottom line, i like the look, but not the name so much.

ok, let me be your guide on this one. release it as you have it in those last images. in fact, you could do a second and release that first look also as a separate filter.

Oh, could you go look at the example I left in my corroded alluminum thread please. To me it looks like it is on the alluminum, but my son says it's still hovering.
