I developed this filter concept from my now deceased "Disintegrator" filter.....RIP    Total extreme makeover.....particle patterns, streaking, solarizations, colorizations, etc. I'm finding useful for some nice artistic touches.....but I would like to hear what others think of it.....  Steve

nice. got a definite brush stroke look and that's always popular. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

yup, like some of those, some, not so much. the last one you can toss out, but that next to last is a keeper!
what i find on retouchpro from the photo art folks, is that they like the brushstroke look a lot, but the wilder, brighter colors, not so much. so, your #2 would be out and 3 and 4 would be in. and the last i just dont much care for personally. kinda dull and flat, like it was partially desaturated. saturation seems best on full or completely off from my experience. you can also mix objects at full or none, but the inbetweens, partially desaturated, dont go over too well. If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

what a cool photo that coastline one is and your filter really affects that one. nice!
is that a photo i could use elsewhere, a stock, royalty freebie? If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
