this is a simple but really nice filter that i have in the works. trouble is, it's too simple to lend itself to multiple presets.
suggestions?? |

I don't know what you have on it, but I would suggest putting a Brightness/Contrast component on the height with a contrast range of somewhere between -80 and -99 to control the relief texture......

thanks, but i'm a step ahead of you, just put that in... this filter is so simple i almost hate to upload it, but i really think it's a cool effect |

Nothing wrong with simple at all.....I'm a true believer in making filters as simple, direct, and efficient as possible.....just so long as it produces the desired effect. You are right though, there are some who snub the simple ones as "unworthy" (I'm the poster boy on the receiving end of that
