Pretty cool! Looks like you're looking through a microscope at something. Would be really interesting if you could make it image based.

----Thanks. smile:) I doubt it could be image based though, since it's not using the HDRI lighting/texture, it needs smoother shapes to work well.

hmmmm ... I guess so. My thought was that the image would be blurred in the background but then have some elements in focus closer to the front, mixed in with what you have. Just some food for thought.

----That would be fine, except it would be a 100% differently constructed filter. I am not aware of anyway to get shapes like those from input images, although I'm sure it is somehow possible. smile:D
