These look cool - I particularly like the last one [ being green doesn't hurt either ] seem to lend it self to your fake metal/gloss/glass effect you've been playing around with smile:)

----Unfortunately, the last 2 use the HDRI lighting, and are not a part of the fake 3-D experiments, I tried, but neither of my main methods really worked, but I still like the pre-school girder look anyways, so I didn't erase them yet ha-ha.

----The bottom 2 examples are "metallic". I didn't add very much blur at all, and I have no real contrast going on the surface at all, so it doesn't really look "metallic" so much.

----Yeah, afraid not, that loses all the depth really, it's just circles and squares with a shiny surface then, sorry. smile:cry: I don't have anything against some shine on the surface or whatever, but if it has to lose what little depth it had to achieve it, then it just isn't a good trade in that sense, to me at least.

Well, I was working on a 'grate' filter last fall, I kinda gave up after a while, something to go back to work on someday maybe.

corner bolts.....

----Thanks for the comments guys. smile:) It took waayyy too long to even make them as mediocre as they are now, which is why I finally gave up on the grate filter idea last fall. Same reason it has holes in the corners instead of bolts, I could only just get a little straight line (like a simplistic screw head) through the circles, and that looked lame, so I just left them as holes instead.

If FF ever starts helping us sell textures, I'm sure I will have to have clean & grunge versions of everything ha-ha. smile:)

----Sure, textures/renders, not filters. And you KNOW how insanely unlikely it is, since well, they can't even sell FF, let alone textures which is a whole nother world etc. And I'm not talking about $5-$10 packs of little 512X512 renders like Renderosity or whatever, that's not money.

----Sure, again, if the money were there. I have quite a few 'texture' type filters, they are just 2/3 done and kind of limbo currently. Most of them have either 1) already been done (and often times better), or 2) have not shown to be really commercially viable for the most part ha-ha. smile:D
