These took way too long since I suck at copying and well, layering and textures ha-ha. Do they look too plastic/cheesy ?

well, i like them, also, but the bars or borders look way raised above the actual tiles. thus, they remind me more of somethnig else.

----Thanks, they sort of look like what I was aiming for at least. smile:)

----I tried to 'lower' the metal layer, and yeah, the *tiles* word wasn't maybe the best to describe them, but they're in the ballpark sort of. smile:p

----Well, 1 out of 4 isn't bad ha-ha. smile;)

----Thanks to all for looking and commenting, especially since I did actually ask about how they looked that time (so double thanks eh), and here's a couple more additions to them.

LOL.... I do like them all.....just #3 of the first batch best mostly because of the nice raised reflective edges.....which you seem to be going away from in your last samples..... smile:| ..... smile;) smile:D

----Well, that raised/reflective possibility is still in there, I just lowered them a bit to see if people thought it looked better, and now you and Kraellin have flip-flopped and I've gained nothing ha-ha smile:p

----<insert me slapping my forehead> Apparently I overdid it or something then ha-ha. Didn't the bricks in the background help at all ?! Sheesh, yer a tough crowd smile:p

----Thanks for the comments though, I am trying to refine some things a bit more (and that can of course go either way, so saying "I liked it better the other way, yer a jerk and I hate your stuff now", isn't entirely unhelpful as a 2nd comment if you commented before and halfway liked it to start with ha-ha). Usually I just barf out a filter in an hour or 4, and I'm done with it cept labelling the controls and maybe adding a color option, but for these I was trying to really just improve the "realism" and/or style.
