Hmm, Redcap's does seem to do the same thing (variation #5), I didn't notice that before. Crapa's doesn't do the tiling trick part (it has more adjustable pieces/shapes it looks like). Uber's looks a bit different (an effect filter maybe as opposed to a texture one?) from Redcap's, but props to both of them (Redcap first apparently).

Mine has been updated a bit, but does not render well at large size due to how I get the effect. I love uber's 100 times more than mine, it looks better and seems more useful. If submitted I have a feeling it would get Editor Pick, and if not it would get the ever so covetted, Redcap's Pick.

If you look closely, the jigsaw pieces in my filter all have two 'noses' and two 'inlets'. Also, since I created the edges via blurring the AA can be unsatisfactory at times. I'd say the tiles in uber's version here look more varied and the edge bevel appears cleaner. Go, uber!  --- Crapadilla says: "Damn you, stupid redundant feature requests!" ;) |

i'm surprised no one mentioned the color differences and how uber's is using a single color per piece and those colors are taken from the image itself.
at any rate, it looks good, uber If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!
