Grain & Stones has been updated. The update now has an Opacity selector. This means that you can now control how much image or grain is showing. Also in this Update Presets 12 & 15 have been deleted. 3 new Presets where added to show this new feature. All Presets are just starting points and may need to be tweaked for best results.

Here is a sample done with Preset 8. No Opacity is used.

Here is the same Preset used but the Opacity is set at 75. If Opacity is set to 0 the texture is full strength, if set to 100 there is no texture at all.

Here is the same photo with preset 18. I also find that after using this filter you can get better results by sharpening the pic and increasing the contrast a bit. Also tonning your result with your favorite tonning filter can really make a nice picture.

I kept the above result and ran the filter again using Preset 8 at 50 Opacity. I found that the stone effect was not strong enough for my liking so I ran the filter again on Preset 20 at at setting of 95. Here is the result. I also tonned it slightly afterwards.

I then took this result and increased the contrast tonned it heavily. I'm not sure how I like this effect, but it sure is different. I found by playing with the settings and combining them, you can get some interesting textures.

Thanks, I uploaded the update today, so I would think it should be up by Monday. You will need the update to make these.
