(...Actually, I, personally, wouldn't use it as a 3D alien skin -- where I more like to just experiment with 2D computer abstract art. But those images look fun and kind of fractal-esque...) |

Yep your filter works great and gives new looks to these texture filters..Just need to find the right one to use with it..
But I won't post it anywhere without your permission..

Thanks to everyone else stay tuned to this thread..
Samm...On this same theme using the filters that I put together for this gives cool results as I have used them..You might be more interested in this version...I was going to horde this combo all to myself..
But it just looks so cool...Results may vary.. First render an image from this filter.. Alien Armour and Skin http://www.filterforge.com/filters/1610.html Next open that image you just rendered and process it through Sphinxs filter.. Acid Flux http://www.filterforge.com/filters/4754.html The results are very very cool looking...  Stupid things happen to computers for stupid reasons at stupid times! |

It is indeed stevie..Thats why I posted it, its just to cool of results not to share.

I really think CFandM is going out splatting Aliens and taking photo's
Way cool image though, my eyes keep drawing to that um eye I see though.. *shoves her over active imagination into a box* Nothing wrong with a little insanity ;)

When I made the Acid Flux filter I kept seeing strange eyes no matter what I fed the filter..hehe I guess thats just a cool side effect of it. |

I take it this filter has a touch of Acid Flux or something similar? Is a cool image though, just my vision keeps getting drawn to the ruddy eye I see!  Nothing wrong with a little insanity ;)

you've got an overlaying or layered effect going on in these, CF. it might look better if that wasnt so pronounced.

Cool thanks Sphinx..Yep I will be working some more on this so I will post it here when done..
Yep no problem...Its always fun not only making filters but discovering how they interact with each other...Such as applying a filter a couple times instead of once...
One of the things to work on before I post it..
