It's pretty late, and I was just messing around with a vague idea and stumbled across a sort of really mediocre/fakey 'fleurdele' type of design (or something along those lines kind of).

----Thanks. smile:) I messed with it a bit this morning, but it's kind of not wanting to go *textured* just yet, like with any happy accident, it then takes 4X as long to really turn it into something ha-ha. smile:p

fleur de lis ( http://images.google.com/images?q=fle...a=N&tab=wi )

very nice, jffe. fleur de lis is a very popular motif. if you could perfect that such that all the fleurs were consistent, i'm guessing you could sell that filter.
If wishes were horses... there'd be a whole lot of horse crap to clean up!

Was thinking that too Craig. Might be worth the x4 in sorting it out jffe. Would make ace wallpaper textures, embossed metal etc.
Nothing wrong with a little insanity ;)

Thanks all, and for the google image examples, those are the ones I was thinking of (I sorta remember them from some lady friend who made jewelry a few years back). I'll keep poking around at it, but other than blocking some out, and shifting/offsetting to copy them over into rows, the method I used is fairly randomish, and wouldn't ever look too much better than it does now.
